My blogs aim to provide useful information about subjects and skills learned throughout my journey in software development and web development, as well as SEO (search engine optimization) and digital marketing. Each blog will explain the basics of a particular software or programming language. Some might provide tutorials showing you how to build something, and others will simply share information. With these blogs, you can expect me to "absolutely keep it real" and help you along your journey as I continue to help myself and grow along my own journey. There will be no fixed topics or subject matter on these blogs; they will range from topics such as:
Software Development: I want to share knowledge about creating software. I'll discuss topics for both business and personal use. I will also post about how I am helping my eldest daughter learn game development and programming too.
Tool Creation: I've also learned about creating tools that I use to make my life easier. These tools can help your production speed up significantly.
SEO: My journey into SEO started in March 2020. For the past year, I have been learning about SEO. I have touched on subjects such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio, things such as backlinks, citations, website audits, tools such as SEMrush and Brightlocal, plus a whole host of other topics. I have learned a lot along the way, and I want to share my stories and lessons learned with you. I hope that they will help you on your own journey in some small way. SEO is an important topic but often neglected.
Digital Marketing: This goes hand in hand with SEO and is also a topic I have been learning a lot about on my journey. Digital marketing is more than just SEO and includes different areas such as social media, content creation, hosting, server administration and a lot more. I'll be posting my thoughts, questions, and advice. Hopefully, this will help you too.
